COURSE DESCRIPTION;
This course intends to equip the graduates with the necessary knowledge and understanding of the basic concepts, principles of different kinds of research, research methods, statistical procedure and the analysis of data. It deals with the nature and characteristics of research and its scientific methodology to solve problems and enlighten the graduate students the total spectrum endeavor starting from the problem formulation through writing a research.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course review the legal issues confronted by educators and the new laws on education. This also allows the students to understand and interpret the different statutes for education and school administration. The existing jurisprudence over the said statutes, rules, regulations, affecting school in the Philippines is included in the study.

This course prepares future school administrators in Physical Education with theory, knowledge, skills and sensibilities to attract, select, develop personnel; create policies, conditions to retain the best; and provide opportunities for their growth and advancement to enhance the quality of education for students. This course draws from the substantial literature on the management in Physical Education of human resources, organizational development, human relations, and professional development, and other areas of study relevant to the purposes of this course.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course provides an integrative, interdisciplinary experience that balances and complements the emphasis on specific disciplines or cultural periods in the Art and Humanities program. It seeks to define the humanities and considers various critical approaches to its study. The course demonstrates how the interrelationships between disciplines and specialized areas of interest can give shape and meaning to a cultural period. In addition, it will focus on methods and theories in interdisciplinary thinking and research, emphasizing: (1) the interrelationships of the disciplines, (2) the theoretical approaches to synthesizing art , theatre, literature, music, philosophy and religion in a cultural context, and (3) the critical examination of issues arising from fields outside the humanities that have significant impact on and synergy with the arts.

COURSE TITLE: PHYSIOLOGICAL BASIS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND ATHLETICS

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Fitness assessment, diet, strength, endurance, flexibility, body comp, chronic disease, goal setting, data gathering, endurance, resistance, aquatics, activity. Includes fieldwork with children. Physiological responses and adaptations to physical activity in various populations and environments; emphasizes fitness evaluation and application of training principles for exercise and sport.

COURSE TITLE: PRINCIPLES OF SPORTS COACHING AND MANAGEMENT

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to various philosophical issues in sport, to help students develop a philosophically reflective approach to coaching sport, and to introduce students to various aspects of the administration of a sport program. This is accomplished by considering the values of sport, by discussing ethical issues relevant to coaching, by analyzing the general nature of administration and administrative processes, by investigating various aspects of management theory and applying them to sport settings, and by discussing legal issues which arise in the conduct of sport programs.
